This sounds like something Clay Travis would say and think it is witty. And people who don't want to talk about culture, identity and how they're going to be the dominant themes of politics for the foreseeable future basically just nod in agreement.

That sounds awesome, like something a Republican consultant would say. But actually no, the demand for identity politics is really, really high. As it is going to be in a multi-racial/ethnic society the minute everything doesn't function as it is supposed to. With a dwindling majority on pace to become majority-minority.
(Open to rebuttals on this but think it is pretty cut and dry if we're being honest)
